About Maryam

Meet Maryam

Maryam is a trained Counselling & CBT Practitioner who provides compassionate emotional support to women and teenage girls.

She holds an Alimah qualification and has over 20 years of experience teaching the Qur’an, Hadith and Islamic studies.

Her extensive background in Islamic education, combined with her counselling training, allows her to offer support that is both psychologically informed and sensitive to Islamic values.

Maryam aims to provide a safe, understanding and non-judgemental space where women and teenage girls can explore their emotions, navigate challenges and develop greater clarity, confidence and emotional wellbeing.

Alongside emotional and psychological support, Maryam offers a compassionate, faith-sensitive space for women and teenage girls to discuss personal struggles, family matters, marriage and separation, divorce, inheritance concerns, and questions about Islamic values in everyday life.

The first session is £35, and subsequent sessions are £45 per session. A free 15-minute phone consultation is also available before you decide whether to book.
